The Quality Management Systems Certificates registration unit:

It is a new unit established to activate the Minister of Trade and Industry's Decree No. 415/ 2010 on registration

procedures and verification of ISO certificates of quality, environmental management systems, or safety or international,

regional, foreign quality marks or any relevant certificates of local or international management systems.

The unit performs the following tasks:

-Registering the granting body at the Egyptian organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS).

-Registeringthe certificate obtained by the establishment at EOS.

The unit's aims to:

1.Setting and controlling the process of granting certificates of quality management systems.

2.Achieving confidence and safety to all concerned granting bodies as well as the bodies obtaining qualitymanagement systems

certificates and protecting of industrial society and the consumer.

3.Standing on the availability of legitimate business of the granting bodies for Certification of qualityManagement Systems

according to the international references to reduce the chances of manipulation of the process of granting quality

management systems certificates and fighting fraudand deceit.

4.Encouraging the good products export and giving equal opportunities for exporters.

5.Increasing high quality exports that compete in overseas markets.

6.Achieving regulatory presence.

7.Facing all out for legitimacy.

1- The granting body should submit a request attached with the required documents.

2-Fulfilling the relevant registration forms.

3- Reviewing thesubmitted documents.

4- The unit should verify the validity of the international accreditation certificates.

5- The granting body pay the standard cost.

6- Issuing a letter stating the granting body registration with EOS.
