The  necessary procedures to implement the Egyptian  standards  for the domestic and domestic product as stipulated in the Ministerial Decree No 32/2010
1- Domestic product obtaining a conformity certificate:
* The domestic manufacturer submit a  conformity certificate (E_Mark) to each individual component or to the entire vehicle Where an Egyptian standard has been issued in this concern , provided that this certificate  should be issued by an authorized conformity certification body for the mentioned component, and contained in the list issued by the United Nations available on  EOS website http://www.eos.org.eg
EOS shall check the authenticity  of the certificate issued for the product according to its relevant standard  by sending a copy of the issued certificate to the issuing body (certification  body accredited by the United Nations) via email

EOS shall issue a conformity certificate based on (E_Mark) certificate, after  the payment of normative costs

2-A local product obtaining  a test report:

* The domestic manufacturer  should submit a conformity certificate (E_Mark)  to each individual component or to the entire vehicle where an Egyptian standard has been issued in this concern  provided that this certificate  should be issued by an authorizedconformity certification body for the mentioned component, and contained in the list issued by the United Nations and available on  EOS Website http://www.eos.org.eg

* EOS shall check the authenticity certificate issued for the product according to the relevant standard by sending 

Certification a copy of the issued certificate by it to the (granting body accredited by the United Nations) via email
Eos shall issue a conformity certificate based on testing report  ( E – Mark ) after  the payment  of normative costs.

3- local product not obtaining a conformity certificate or test report :

* In case of non-submission of the conformity certificate or test report 
The client submits the components to EOS to conduct tests on components according to the relevant Egyptian standards issued in respect of each individual component or to the entire vehicle.

*Payment of the prescribed fees in this regard .

* sending the samples to the testing bodies registered at EOS after the client's choice of the testing body ,  conformity certificate will be issued on the base of the test report.

The Egyptian standards concerned with the vehicles and their components where The Ministerial Decree No 32/2010 has been issued
